We want to thank HCA for meeting with us last month and for the information they shared with our members. Hopefully, those of you who attended the meeting were able to make contacts with the national HCA person, as well as the local St. Marks Hospital staff. Thanks to Jen Scoffield for arranging the meeting.
This month, we have two opportunities for you to hone your skills. The first one is next Tuesday where the Air Logistics Center will be hosting an industry day. The event will be held at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. To register, you need to follow this link. If you are interested at all in doing business with Hill Air Force Base and/or the companies who contract with them, you should plan to attend this event.
Also, on June 23, the Utah Office of Procurement Technical Assisitance is hosting a day long training for the change in their bid program. Most of you are probably registered with the state and other entities through BidSync. The State has a new contract with a company called SciQuest and will no longer be using BidSync. This day-long training is to help you get registered on the new system and learn the ins and outs of getting notifications of new state bids. This training will be held at the Salt Lake Community College - Larry Miller campus at 9750 South 300 West. The cost for this event is $50, which includes lunch. To register for this training event, follow this link.
We look forward to seeing you at these events in June. Just a reminder that USDC does not hold a meeting in July. Have a safe summer. See you in August.
